Ingredients
  • 1 package fresh cranberries (12 oz)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup apricot jam
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 2-quart baking dish with a lid, combine cranberries and sugar, stirring to coat the berries well.
  3. Cover and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the cranberries pop and release their juices.
  4. Remove from the oven and stir in the apricot jam and chopped pecans.
  5. Refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. When ready to serve, let the cream cheese soften at room temperature.
  7. Place the block of cream cheese on a serving dish, and pour the cranberry mixture over it.
  8. Serve with buttery crackers or small pretzels.
